Designed for students looking to take a first, accessible step into the world of Hindustani music, this course will introduce the fundamentals of the music. Concepts, instruments, techniques, and genres are introduced through directed listening, discussion, lectures, demonstrations and hands-on experiences with the music and musicians. Students are not required to have any previous background in music to understand and benefit from this course. |
